The High Road to Taos from Santa Fe is filled with gorgeous scenery all along the way and we were lucky to have beautiful weather for the ride.
This image was serendipity. As we were travelling on the highway we saw the mountain up ahead and out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw water to my right beyond the trees. I quickly put the brakes on (much to my wife's chagrin), backed up, and then turned into an opening and the image you see here appeared before me. There was beautiful scenery throughout the trip but this is my favorite. Plus, I was lucky there were fishermen there to complete the image.
